Marriott International has announced the commencement of operations for the first phase of its new Ritz-Carlton branded complex in Amman with the opening of a Ritz-Carlton Residences in the Jordanian capital. The residences portion of the luxury complex offers 90 apartments for residents to begin moving into immediately.
The property also used the opportunity of the opening ceremony to introduce its new senior staff who will serve both residents and hotel guests, including general manager Tareq Derbas, executive chef Joergen Sodemann, and sales and marketing director Antoine Hobeika.
The hotel portion of the complex is expected to open its doors to visitors later this year and will offer 192 rooms and 24 luxury suites, along with various retail outlets, restaurants, and other services.
