Erbil, the capital of Iraq’s semi-autonomous Kurdistan region, has added another international hotel brand to its skyline with the opening of the Radisson Hotel and Residences. The 93-key property features a mix of hotel rooms, suites, and furnished apartments, some with kitchenettes, washing machines, and dishwashers. There building also boasts a 600-person event space, multiple meeting rooms, a buffet-style restaurant, spa, gym, and cafe.
Radisson’s Chief Operating Office for the Middle East, Africa, and Southeast Asia Pacific, Tim Cordon, invited guests to “explore the rich cultural tapestry and dynamic business landscape of this historic city, all while enjoying unparalleled comfort and service.”
This new hotel opening in Erbil follows just a year and a half after Kempinski debuted their first property in Kurdistan with their takeover of the old Bristoria Hotel.
