Air Arabia has opened a new off-site flight check-in office in downtown Dubai to allow those flying with the low-cost carrier to check their luggage and pick up boarding passes up to 24 hours prior to their scheduled departure. The airline already operates 11 similar locations throughout the UAE, including in Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Ajman, and Ras al Khaimah.
Customers can also use the new downtown check-in location if they are flying on Air Arabia flights out of airports in other nearby emirates as well. For example, Sharjah passengers can use facilities locally in Sharjah as well as in Ajman, Rae al Khaimah, and now Dubai, with the new Dubai location even offering a free shuttle service to Sharjah’s airport. However, Abu Dhabi passengers must still use the Air Arabia City Check-In location in that emirate.
Air Arabia’s off-site check-in and luggage drop locations are open from 10am until 10pm every day and are also staffed to provide assistance with an array of traditional customer service functions such as seat selection and itinerary changes.
Founded in 2003, Air Arabia was the first low-cost carrier based in the Middle East. Today, it continues as the largest low-cost airline in the Middle East and North Africa, offering service to 190 destinations throughout the region as well as across Europe and India.
